Itihaas

The interior of Itihaas, the award-winning Indian restaurant in Birmingham, was designed to create an authentic Royal Indian dining experience, drawing inspiration from the rich heritage, craftsmanship and elegance of India.

The design brings together rich materials, considered detailing, colour and texture to create a warm and immersive atmosphere. Traditional influences are carefully interpreted through a contemporary lens, allowing the interior to feel authentic while remaining welcoming and sophisticated.

Created nearly 20 years ago, the interior continues to feel relevant today, demonstrating the lasting quality of a timeless design rooted in authenticity rather than passing trends. The result is a distinctive hospitality environment that complements the restaurant’s celebrated dining experience and continues to resonate with its guests.
